Flame monitoring systems for industrial furnaces

Sicher überwacht

Industrial furnaces, which are used in a wide variety of sectors such as power generation, metal processing or the chemical industry, play a crucial role in the manufacture of products and energy. The requirements for flame monitoring are defined by different fuels and ambient conditions as well as high efficiency. A stable flame condition is crucial in order to avoid overheating, incomplete combustion or dangerous flame losses, which can lead to damage to the firing system or even dangerous operating accidents.

BFI Automation’s flame monitoring systems for industrial firing systems detect flame failures, instabilities or misfires in real time and pass the information on to the burner control system. Initiated protective measures, such as an emergency shutdown, prevent major damage or danger.
