Flame monitoring systems for different fuels

With the global shift towards sustainable and CO₂-neutral energy systems and other challenges, alternative fuels are increasingly coming into focus. However, their safe and efficient combustion places new demands on monitoring technology, especially flame monitoring. Only with precise sensor technology and intelligent signal processing can these alternative energy sources be used economically and safely – both in thermal power plants and in industrial applications. The development of high-performance monitoring systems is therefore a key factor in the energy transition. BFI Automation provides flame monitoring systems for these fuels in order to avoid unintentional shutdowns or safety risks. These are able to work reliably even with fluctuating flame conditions, low emissions and possible re-ignition.

Flame Scanner

The Flame Scanner 3001 is a system plug-in unit of the 3000 series which, in conjunction with the Flame Scanner of the system, forms a complete flame monitoring system for any burner output, fuel and combustion process.
