Flame signal converter 3007
The flame signal converter 3007 resolves the flame signal of the associated flame scanner and provides a current signal (0/4...20 mA) for external processing, linear to the measured flame intensity.

The flame signal converter 3007 is a system plug-in unit of the 3000 series. It resolves the flame signal of the associated flame scanner and provides a current signal (0/4...20 mA) linear to the measured flame intensity for further external processing. The plug-in units work completely independently of the parallel assigned flame monitor 3001, 3001D or 3001S. While the settings on the flame monitor are optimized for the highest possible availability with maximum safety, the flame signal converter can focus on the flame radiation analysis. This means that changes in flame intensity are displayed well in advance, before unstable flame monitor signals occur, which may also cause the burner to shut down. If secondary effects can be ruled out (dirty flame sensor optics, misalignment or absorption by smoke or dust), signals are obtained that allow changes in combustion to be recognized immediately by the flame image. Corrective measures can be taken in good time. In combination with appropriate radiation sensors, increases in emission values can also be prevented. The output signals of the 3007 flame signal converters are either integrated directly into the burner control system or used for visualization by means of a process signal display (usually via monitors).
